Reserve with Purpose
US$88 of every US$888 founding membership goes to an elephant sanctuary.
1. The Waitlist is not an offer or a purchase.
Joining the Waitlist registers your interest only. It does not reserve you a Founding Membership, guarantee allocation, or create any binding obligation on Elephants until the confirmation and payment steps in Clause 4 are completed.
2. Eligibility and priority access.
Existing Elephants customers will be given the opportunity to confirm before the Waitlist is opened to the public. Beyond that, positions are allocated strictly first come, first served, based on registration time. Elephants may verify eligibility (including identity and account status) at any stage and may decline or remove any registrant at its discretion, including where required by Clause 8.
3. Founding 100 status.
Only the first 100 confirmed and paid Founding Memberships will receive Founding 100 status. Waitlist position is not a guarantee of falling within the first 100.
4. Confirmation and payment.
(a) Ahead of launch, our team will contact registrants in Waitlist order to invite them to confirm their Founding Membership.
(b) On confirmation, the one-time Founding Membership Fee of US$888 will be deducted from the customer's Elephants account.
(c) You are responsible for ensuring sufficient available funds in your Elephants account by the date specified in our outreach. If funds are insufficient by that date, your confirmation will be treated as withdrawn and your place will pass to the next eligible registrant on the Waitlist. We are not obliged to follow up further or hold your position open.(d) The Founding Membership Fee is due in full; partial payment does not secure a place.
5. Founding Membership benefits and Reserve Card program terms.
(a) Benefits. Subject to these Terms, Founding Membership includes: (i) Elephants membership for life; (ii) Founding 100 status (first 100 confirmed members only); (iii) Reserve privileges for life; (iv) priority access to Herd events; and (v) access to future eligible Reserve partner privileges as they become available. Benefits described as "for life" continue for as long as Elephants offers the Reserve program and you remain a member in good standing; specific privileges, partners, and events may be added, changed, or withdrawn from time to time and are not guaranteed in kind or value.
(b) Card issuer and program structure. The Reserve Card is issued by Elephants AI Global Pte Ltd ("Card Issuer"), pursuant to a BIN sponsorship arrangement with Sunrate Pte Ltd, under license from Mastercard. Sunrate Pte Ltd does not deal with you directly and is not a party to these Terms; its role is limited to sponsoring the bank identification number under which the Card is issued.
(c) Not a bank account. The Reserve Card and any associated card account are not a deposit account and are not covered by deposit insurance in any jurisdiction.
(d) Card terms. Use of the Reserve Card — including card transaction disputes and chargebacks, foreign exchange, and fees (other than the issuance fee at Section 7) — is governed by these Terms together with Elephants' general Terms of Use (elephants.inc/legal/general-terms-of-use) and the applicable fees page, each as in force from time to time. If these Terms conflict with the general Terms of Use in relation to the Reserve Card, these Terms govern.
(e) Separate KYC for card issuance. Issuance of the Reserve Card is subject to the Card Issuer's own KYC, sanctions, and eligibility checks, which may differ from those applied to your Elephants account. The Card Issuer may decline to issue a Card even where your Founding Membership has been confirmed and paid for, without obligation to refund the Founding Membership Fee.
(f) Card features. Specific card features (e.g., contactless, virtual card, supported card network) are determined by the Card Issuer and may vary by jurisdiction.
6. Elephant sanctuary contribution.
Elephants will contribute US88ofeachUS888 Founding Membership Fee to an elephant sanctuary of its choosing. This is a contribution made by Elephants, not a personal donation by the member, and no individual tax receipt will be issued to members in respect of it.
7. Metal Reserve card issuance fee.
The physical Metal Reserve card for the first 100 Founding Members is included in the Founding Membership Fee. For memberships confirmed after the first 100, issuance of the Metal Reserve card is subject to a separate, non-refundable US$150 issuance fee, payable in addition to the Founding Membership Fee. See Section 5(b) for the Card Issuer.
8. KYC/AML and account requirements.
Founding Membership is available only to holders of an Elephants account in good standing and is subject to Elephants' know-your-customer, customer due diligence, and ongoing AML/CTF obligations under applicable law. Elephants may decline, delay, suspend, or reverse a Founding Membership confirmation at any time where required by law or our risk-based policies, without liability.
9. Fees non-refundable.
Except as required by law, the Founding Membership Fee and any card issuance fee are non-refundable once successfully deducted, including if you later choose not to use the Reserve Card or associated benefits.
10. Not a financial or investment product.
Founding Membership is a loyalty and privileges program. It is not a deposit, security, investment, or collective investment scheme, does not accrue interest or investment returns, and membership status and benefits have no cash value and are non-transferable and non-assignable except as Elephants may permit in writing.
11. Changes to the program.
Elephants may amend, suspend, or discontinue the Waitlist or the Founding Membership program (including benefits, pricing, or the Founding 100 cap) at any time before launch, and will use reasonable efforts to notify affected registrants.
12. Personal data.
Information you submit to join the Waitlist will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy (elephants.inc/legal/privacy-policy), including to contact you about confirmation and to conduct eligibility and AML/KYC checks.
13. Limitation of liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Elephants is not liable for any loss arising from Waitlist positioning, timing of outreach, or failure to secure a Founding Membership, including where this results from insufficient funds under Clause 4(c).
14. Governing law.
These Terms, other than the Reserve Card program terms at Section 5, are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada. The Reserve Card program, including the terms referenced in Section 5(d), is governed by the laws of Singapore.
